What I think about at times.

We're at the start or in a recession. This has got me thinking how an ad should be written for the job of President of the United States at this moment. Here goes my attempt.

"Wanted a citizen with experience in turning around a bankrupt entity without firing the help. You must be able to distinguish between what will help yourself or your friends from what will help the country. You must be able to carry through on an oath you will have to take to do your best to help the country. You should have experience in which you contribute to the general welfare rather than to the transfer of wealth from one group of citizens to another. You must not have any alliances that prevent you from an objective evaluation of what is good or bad for humanity, if such an evaluation is possible."
How do the present candidates stack up to these requirements?

Both Edda and myself keep ourselves busy writing books. Not only is this good exercise for our brain cells but it is fun also. I have been able to learn areas of science that were virgin to me. In the course of research I have also become aware of the high degree of pollution of the science literature. What do I mean by pollution?
Answer, "incorrect assertions", "poorly designed experiments yielding worthless information" "multiplicate publication of essentially the same information".
